Terms of Service
Last updated September 6, 2026
These terms govern your use of Pragma ("the service"), operated by Pragma. By accepting an invite and creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you're using Pragma on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on their behalf too.
Your account
Accounts are created by invitation only. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@pragmas.app.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Pragma. By creating an account, you confirm this.
Acceptable use
You may use Pragma for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Use the service to store or share illegal content
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use automated means to access the service without our written consent
Your content
You own the content you create in Pragma — tasks, descriptions, project names, and so on. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content in order to operate the service. We don't claim any ownership over it and we won't use it for any purpose other than providing the service.
You're responsible for the content you add. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
Organizations
The first user to register creates an organization and becomes its org admin. The org admin is responsible for their organization's use of the service, including the actions of members they invite. If an org admin's account is closed, we'll work with them to transfer ownership before doing so.
Paid plans
If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing terms will be presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, but we'll work with you if something goes wrong.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes won't apply mid-billing-period.
Availability
We aim to keep Pragma available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we'll try to give advance notice when planned. We're not liable for any losses caused by downtime.
Termination
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
If we decide to shut down the service entirely, we'll give at least 60 days notice and provide a way for you to export your data.
Limitation of liability
Pragma is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pragma is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
